Who We Are

About URBX College of Aviation

URBX College of Aviation is a private college established in 2025 at Thrikkakara, Kochi, Kerala, approved by the Government of Kerala and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). We are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) — the only university in India established exclusively for aviation education, operating under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and established by an Act of Parliament.

RGNAU is one of only six such universities worldwide. URBX College of Aviation is the first private college to affiliate with RGNAU, making us the first private institution in India dedicated exclusively to aviation education.

Since its inception in 2018, the URBX Group has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from a modest startup in a 1,000 sq. ft. facility into a diversified powerhouse operating across a 40,000 sq. ft. corporate infrastructure. Under the visionary leadership of Chairman Mr. Fayaz Ibrahim, the Group has expanded its footprint from its foundational roots in logistics and supply chain management to become a leader in Aviation training, Infrastructure development, and Professional Consultancy.

Today, URBX is synonymous with operational excellence, boasting a workforce of over 70 experts and a business portfolio that includes strategic partnerships with global giants like Total Energies and JSW Cement.

The Group's commitment to shaping the future is most evident in its educational wing, URBX Knowledge Park, which has successfully empowered nearly 1,000 students in just two years. By bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, URBX provides world-class training through industry-affiliated programs and specialized academies for logistics and digital technology. With a trajectory aimed at doubling its student enrollment and a unique “Offer Letter on Enrollment” initiative, the URBX Group continues to redefine industry standards, delivering high-impact solutions that drive both economic growth and social responsibility across India and the Middle East.

Fayaz Ibrahim

A professional with extensive experience in Aviation and Supply Chain Management, with over 27 years spent in the Middle East. Fayaz began his career working with multiple airlines, mainly in Airport Operations, and later served with Business Travel International in Saudi Arabia for their corporate division.

In the early 2000s, he transitioned into Abbott Pharma, where he initially took charge of Demand Management. Over time, he expanded his responsibilities to include Logistics, Supply Operations, Third-Party Manufacturing, Project Management, Business Excellence, Strategic Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning — eventually serving as Country Director.

In 2017, he returned to India and launched his own venture under the brand name URBX. Since then, he has established a strong presence in Logistics, Project Management, Skill Development, and Aviation & Logistics Management Training.

A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience across several sectors including Aviation, Shipping, Banking, Oil and Gas, Hospitality, and Construction.

Jayan moved to Qatar Rail in 2015 to establish the Internal Audit and Risk functions, providing assurance, monitoring, and advice to deliver and operate a USD 20 billion state-of-the-art Metro and Tram Network — the backbone for the seamless conduct of FIFA 2022.

Jayan, along with other investors, established 2 schools in Qatar and Kerala. He is a Founder Director of Olive International School, Qatar (CBSE-affiliated, 5 campuses, 4,500 students) and Founder Director of St. Alphonsa Public School, Oorakam, Kerala (CBSE-affiliated, 700 students).
